VoidStar started with a simple frustration: shutter alarms that depended on SIM cards, guards who couldn't watch every hour, and security systems too complicated for a shop owner to configure alone. We build devices that wake up, notice, and tell you — on your terms.
Started with GSM, on purpose
Our first devices — Shutter Security and Home Security — call and SMS you directly over their own SIM. No subscription, no dependency on our servers being up. Simple, self-contained hardware for anyone who wants alerting without a monthly bill.
Then we built the platform
Shutter Cloud Security and Home Cloud Security remove the SIM entirely — WiFi and a subscription instead. In exchange, you get a web portal, a mobile app, per-event logs and alerts across more channels than a single GSM call could ever offer.
